Job Description & Requirements
Brandon School Division is currently accepting applications for Casual Labourers for the 2024/25 school year.
The Labourer works in a support role for the Brandon School Division's various Maintenance crews, including the carpentry crew (i.e. building cabinets), the grounds crew (i.e. maintain/operate equipment), and/or the painting crew (i.e. art/design work, graffiti removal.)
Required Qualifications:
- Requires general maintenance knowledge, including the ability to operate, assemble, repair, and maintain equipment and materials.
- Cabinet making techniques (for Carpentry crew).
- WHMIS training/certification.
- Effective basic reading, writing and mathematical skills.
- Effective basic interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must hold a valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence.
